SEALBHÚ is very pleased to invite you to two webinars on the above
theme. We are delighted that the world renowned *Professor Fred Genesee *from
McGill University, Montreal will give the first webinar on Tuesday 4th
October. Prof. Genesee is one of the world's leading experts on second
language acquisition and multilingualism research.

Our own *Dr Aisling Ní Dhiorbháin* will present recently completed research
on the experiences of children and parents, who speak a home language other
than Irish or English, in Irish-medium schools.

Tá an-áthas ar SEALBHÚ cuireadh a thabhairt duit chuig dhá sheimineár ar
líne ar an téama:  An t-ilteangachas agus foghlaim teanga. Tá lúcháir
orainn go mbeidh an t-ollamh iomráiteach *Fred Genesee *ó Ollscoil McGill
linn don chéad seimineár ar 4 Deireadh Fómhair. Tá clú agus cáil ar an
Ollamh Genesee ar fud an domhain as a shaineolas ar shealbhú an dara teanga
agus an ilteangachas.

Beidh *Aisling Ní Dhiorbháin* linn don dara seimineár ar an taighde
ceannródaíoch atá curtha i gcrích aici ar thaithí pháistí agus
tuismitheoirí i scoileanna Gaeltachta agus lán-Ghaeilge ó chúlraí teanga
nach Gaeilge nó Béarla iad.
